Hello! I am Giovanni, a young Italian cellist.
My studies, firstly in Italy, then in Germany and The Netherlands led to me be part of various orchestras, the last being the Copenhagen Philharmonic, where I played for two years, while giving a lot of concerts around Europe with the Mühlfeld Trio and pursuing a Master Degree at Conservatorium Maastricht.
I am thrilled now to be part of the team of Muziekschool Plug & Play, where my goal is to find, with the student, the joy and the feeling of profound concentration while playing an instrument. The lessons are of course adapted to each student, but the common thread will always be to try, from the very beginning, to combine music (of every kind!) and technique, leaving out merely mechanical exercises.
I speak fluently Italian, Spanish and English, I have a B1 in German and I am learning Dutch (currently around A2/B1 level).
